Fiberglass reinforced plastic mortar pipes (FRP mortar pipes, rpmp) are the result of many years’ scientific research and development and successful manufacture of our company. It is a new material used in large fluid transportation projects, mainly for buried pipes and overhead pipes, with light weight, high strength, long service life, low operation and maintenance costs, which can save a lot of money for construction projects.
The main forming process is controlled by computer, the inner lining is made on the core mold according to the specified procedure (the same process as the inner lining of fiber-wound FRP pipe), and after gelation, the structural layer is wound according to the designed line and thickness, and the mortar mixed with quartz sand and resin is wrapped in the structural layer, and finally the outer protective layer is wound.
